It's always so bittersweet when I revisit DevArt after months and months of neglect. I'm so proud and happy for the people who have stuck it out and really improved. Honestly, I am blown away every time. We all started out at the same place: drawing neopets and oekaki-ing together. And now everyone's off becoming the next big illustrator. To see how talented my friends have become-- Wow!

Every time I come back to see how everyone's doing, I beat myself up a little bit more. If only I had just stuck with it... how much would I have improved? Where would I be at now?

There's always something inside me that misses the comments and the constructive criticism. And I especially miss the wonderfully talented people I met. But disappearing for half a decade is my own fault, and I'm more than happy to cheer my old friends on from the sidelines whether they remember me or not.
